How does the P2P marketplace ads recommendation logic work?
To continue providing the best P2P trading experience, we've introduced a Recommended sorting feature on both web and app (Android). While the default ad sorting on the P2P marketplace will be based on price, you can also sort ads by our recommendation. The factors are determined in the following sequence:
Merchant tier (Diamond > Super > Lite) > quality of merchant > price of ad > ad creation time
1. What are the factors that affect the quality of merchants?
Complaints against the merchant on the following aspects:
Reminders to release crypto
Unable to pay as a buyer
Select Paid without providing any payment
Order cancellation data:
Unable to contact the merchant
Bad service/attitude
Fake payment methods
Transaction data:
The number of served users
The average time taken to release crypto
The rate of being blocked by users
The rate of order cancellation
The rate of order completion
2. How do I define a high-quality merchant?
Order cancellation rate ≈ 0
Transacted with a high number of users in the past 30 days
Favorite rating and good feedback rating ≈ 99%
Blocking rate / negative feedback ≈ 0
Average release crypto time or average payment time < 120s
Order completion rate ≈ 99%
Risk grade = no risk
3. How can I create an ad with a higher rank in the marketplace?
Set an attractive and reasonable price
Maintain good behavior throughout your P2P transactions
Abide by our merchant regulations and maintain a good reputation
As the quality of merchant has a stronger weightage than Price in the Recommended sorting logic, please follow the rules above if you also want your ad to get a higher rank in the marketplace when sorting by recommendation.
Any questions about the recommended logic, you may reach out to your BD (P2P Manager) to understand the details. You can contact our customer support if you don't know or don't have a BD in your region.
