GLOBAL CANDIDATE PRIVACY NOTICE
1. INTRODUCTION
The OKC Holdings Corporation and all of its subordinate entities and affiliates, including but not limited to OKX and Okcoin (“OK Group'' or the “Company”) have developed this Global Candidate Privacy Notice (“Privacy Notice”) to help you understand our policies on collection, processing, transfer and use of personal data when you submit a job application to us.
This Notice does not apply to non-candidate or non-applicant users, visitors, or customers that visit website(s). Additionally, this Notice does not apply to our current or former employees or independent contractors, as they are covered by the internal employee privacy policy.
2. GENERAL INFORMATION
a. Your information
OK Group collects and processes certain personal data about you. This includes:
Profile data - your name, alias, personal contact details (e.g. address, phone, email), driver’s license, immigration status;
Qualifications data - resume, information in your company biography, social media profiles and activity, your photo, application letters, employment history, qualifications and skills, references, and background screening if relevant (this may include details of criminal records);
Employment data- job title, office location, company email address, compensation, benefits, professional experience, education (including professional certifications and credentials), start and end dates, performance history, training records, employment number;
Emergency contact data (if applicable);
Information relating to compliance with labor or employment laws;
System data - audio, electronic, or similar information we may capture through your communications with us (e.g. voice recordings of telephone conversations, emails);
Other data you provide to us, including data such as your feedback and survey responses where you choose to identify yourself.
b. Sources
OK Group collects personal data from you directly when you apply for a job (including during the interview process, which may be recorded);
We may also collect your personal information from various other sources and combine it with the personal data you provide to us. For example, we may collect your personal data from:
job board websites you may use to apply for a job with us;
educational institutions;
prior employers, when they provide us with employment references;
professional references that you authorize us to contact;
third-party providers of background check, credit check, or other pre-employment screening services (where permitted by law);
your public social media profiles or other publicly-available sources;
employment agencies or recruiters;
Company communications and IT systems/applications that automatically collect information about, and transmitted byusers;
other Company personnel; and
members of the public, courts, public authorities, and other public sources.
c. Purposes
OK Group processes this personal data for the following purposes:
To consider, establish and perform the employment contract.
Protecting the security of the OK Group’s premises, assets, systems, and intellectual property and enforcing company policies.
Compliance with legal obligations, complying with audit, recordkeeping and reporting requirements, complying with tax requirements, ensuring health and safety.
Protection of OK Group’s legitimate business interests and legal rights.
Auditing, investigations, and compliance.
d. Aggregated Data
We also create, process and / or share “Aggregated Data” such as statistical or demographic data for any purpose. This Aggregated Data may be derived from your personal data, but once in aggregated form it will not constitute personal data as this data cannot be linked to you. However, if we combine or connect Aggregated Data with your personal data so that it can be linked to you, we treat the combined data as personal data which will be used in accordance with this Privacy Notice.
e. Data Retention
The actual retention period will vary given the various types of personal data and various uses for each data type. We retain your personal data based on whether we have a legitimate purpose for the retention, including as mandated by applicable law.
f. Data Transfers
OK Group processes and stores the above information in different jurisdictions. Personal data may be transferred to OK Group entities and third parties, including service providers, in jurisdictions outside of your location. Transfers outside of the EEA, UK or USA (as appropriate) are done in accordance with lawful transfer mechanisms.
g. Disclosure to third parties

Our corporate parent, subsidiaries, and other affiliates under the control of our corporate parent to operate shared infrastructure, systems and technology or for use consistent with this Privacy Notice.
Government authorities, law enforcement officials, courts or others for the purposes described in the Purposes section above.
Service providers who will process personal data on behalf of OK Group to provide services to OK Group.
h. Information Security
OK Group has put in place appropriate security measures (technical and organizational) to prevent personal data from being accidentally lost, used or accessed in an unauthorized way, altered or disclosed.

Request access to your personal data that we hold about you and check that OK Group is lawfully processing it.
Request correction of the personal data that OK Group holds that is incomplete or inaccurate information.
Request erasure of your personal data that OK Group holds where there is no good reason for continuing to process it.
Withdraw consent in limited circumstances where you have provided consent to the collection, use and transfer of personal data for a specific purpose, you have the right to withdraw consent at any time.

OK Group may update this Privacy Notice at any time and post the changes on this page. If any updates to this Privacy Notice are made, we will update the Privacy Notice date stated above.
