1. How do I become a lead trader?

You can apply on our lead trader recruitment page.

2. How do I level up?

Traders must first meet the minimum criteria for the next level. We’ll carry out a review every Tuesday between 0:00 and 15:59 (UTC) to review trader performance. Traders with strong trading performance will be able to level up.
Traders who are eligible to level up will be notified by email every Tuesday, before 11:59:59 (UTC).

3. Besides level criteria, are there any other guidelines for leveling up?

When reviewing a trader’s level, we expect traders to have the following qualities in order to level up.

Genuine: Uses own individual account to make trades.
Long-term: Serious about their trades, trades long-term, and doesn’t change account due to subpar performance data.
Steady: Manages risk appropriately and has a low max drawdown.
Authentic: Trades with substantial funds in lead trades.
Honest: Doesn’t inflate data, hedge bets, or copy other people’s positions.

4. What could cause my level to decrease?

If you don’t have sufficient lead assets for your current level, you’ll be hidden from the lead trader list. If your assets remain insufficient for 2 weeks, your level will decrease.
If your copy trader count is consistently lower than the limit for the level below you, your level will be decreased.
If you violate our lead trader or platform guidelines, your level will be decreased, or you may lose lead trader status.

OKX reserves the right to modify or revoke trader benefits at any time.
OKX reserves the right to add or remove traders from the program at its discretion.
OKX reserves the right to cancel or modify the program or its rules at any time.
OKX reserves the right to interpret the terms and conditions of this program as it sees fit. It reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time, exclude any participants from this promotion, and/or cancel this promotion without notice.
