How to register an account on OKX

Registering an account on OKX only takes a few minutes and gives you access to the world's most powerful suite of crypto trading tools. Here's how to get started, step by step.

Step 1

Head to the OKX homepage'se top right corner and click Sign up.

Click on the Sign-up button

Step 2

Enter your email address in the Email field.

Click Sign up when you're ready to sign up with your email address.

Step 4

Check your email for the six-digit registration verification code we automatically sent you.

Step 5

You will have 10 minutes to enter the verification code into the Enter code field. When you've done so, click Next to continue.

Step 6

Enter the password you want to protect your account with in the Password field. Click Next when you're satisfied.

Keep in mind to:

  • Use a combination of numbers, letters, symbols, and lower and upper case
  • Make sure you follow best crypto security practices
  • Never share your password with anyone, including people claiming to work for OKX

Step 7

You can now access your OKX account dashboard. To get started you have two options:

  • Buy with card, which allows you to buy Bitcoin and 99 other cryptocurrencies with 92 fiat currencies.
  • Deposit: If you already own crypto, you can deposit from another platform or wallet to your OKX account

Step 8

Hover over the Trade menu in the navigation bar and select the option you're interested in. Before you start trading, you will be asked about your trading experience.

Whether you're a beginner taking your first steps into trading or an experienced trader willing to experiment with sophisticated strategies, our demo mode allows you to trade with test assets. Hover over the trade menu and select Demo trading to access the demo trading environment.
